
Mt. Halcon is a majestic peak situated in the province of Oriental Mindoro, between the municipalities of Naujan and Baco. Standing at apprxomately 2,582 meters (8,471 feet) above sea level. It is a renowned for its reputation as one of the most challenging mountains to climb in the country and dubbed as “Mountain of Death” due to its steep and treacherous terrain. Considered sacred, Mt. Halcon holds cultural significance for the indigenous Mangyan communities.
