
Located in the municipality of Quezon, Palawan is where prehistoric human bones and cultural artifacts were found. The Tabon Cave Complex of the National Museum of the Philippines is considered to be one of the cultural gems of Palawan. Artifacts, fascinating rock formations, stalagmites, and stalactites can be seen within the complex.
In recognition of its abundant natural and cultural riches, the Tabon Cave Complex earned the designation of a Site Museum Reservation on April 11, 1972.
